We had the most incredible stay at a secluded and peaceful retreat. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by Welsh hills and a soothing stream by the hut. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay special, even providing a homemade birthday cake. The breakfast was plentiful and the facilities flawless, especially the cozy garden and BBQ area. It was a true escape from the world with no signal, allowing us to relax and unwind completely.

There was no mobile signal at the hut, which may not appeal to everyone.

My stay at 'Morris' The Shepherd's Hut With Woodland Hot Tub' was an incredible experience. The cozy and quaint dwelling provided a much-needed change from the norm. The beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife was truly idyllic. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was an added bonus and a great place to relax and chill.

Although the stepping stones up to the hot tub were a little loose underfoot, we were warned about it in advance. Additionally, a cooked breakfast would have been the perfect addition to an already amazing experience, but the continental breakfast provided was sufficient.

The location was serene and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The hut itself was well-equipped and cozy, with a surprisingly efficient stove for cooking. The breakfast provided was sufficient and the little treats like scones and cakes were a nice touch. We also enjoyed the hot tub, which was truly fantastic. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place.

The hot tub was great, very secluded and relaxing. The outdoor fire/BBQ was nice to sit in front of at night. There were many birds in the private garden area, which was enjoyable to watch.

The bed was difficult to get in and out of and the mattress was uncomfortable - too firm and compact. There was only one cooking ring, making it difficult to cook.

Absolutely magical place, from falling asleep to the sound of owls to watching the stars by the fire. Everything is thought of, including special requests and a surprise birthday cake. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay special. You get way more than expected, with ample food on arrival. The effort put into maintaining the place is immense.

We particularly enjoyed the cozy log fire and the lack of distractions like WiFi and TV, which allowed us to fully relax and recharge our batteries. The attention to detail, including the scones and little cakes, made our stay even more enjoyable. We only wish we could have stayed longer and made use of the BBQ and outside area. We will definitely be coming back for a longer visit!

This was our second visit to Morris and it was just as amazing as the first. The hut is beautiful, warm, and cosy, set in a stunning location perfect for a romantic retreat. The hosts are wonderful, providing a warm welcome and all the little thoughtful touches inside the hut. We made use of the picnic table and sheltered BBQ area, and the woodland hot tub was well worth the extra cost. The views are absolutely breathtaking, making you feel like you're in a different world. We will definitely return to this magical place.
